Ten years ago, I woke up to a stark reality – 143kg staring back at me from the scales. That moment was a wake-up call, a pivotal point that set me on a path to reclaim my health. I started with simple steps: half-hour walks up my street and a commitment to eliminate the culprits – chocolate, late-night snacks, cereal, and white bread. Alongside, I embraced a tub of protein, albeit with no clear plan – I was driven by determination.
Within a few months, the scales revealed a 10kg drop. It was a taste of success that fueled my determination. I set my sights on a goal – going under 100kg. But I chose a different approach: slow, steady, and sustainable. Over three years, I shed 30kg, learning the ropes of my body's transformation.
Yet, like any journey, mine hit a plateau. That's when I turned to knowledge, seeking guidance from Online Coaches, Personal Trainers and Nutritionists. A gym membership, weight lifting, education, guidance, and a revamped eating pattern breathed new life into my quest for health. My body responded, not just by shedding more weight, but by reshaping itself with the addition of weights. In 2018, after two years of these changes, I finally stepped on the scale and saw a number below 100kg.
I've not just survived; I've thrived. The journey has been long, challenging, but incredibly rewarding. I stand before you, not just as a fitness coach, but as someone who understands the struggles, the triumphs, and the joy that comes with transforming your life.
